She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Aubrey’s great-grandmother is Helen Ezzell of Tulsa and her siblings are Grant Michael, 9, and Carys Rhyan Moore, 3.

Revisiting the past ...

SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Area residents are welcome to the grand opening of the Meeker Historical Museum at 10 a.m. Saturday in the new facility located at Carl Hubbel Boulevard next to city hall.

The  museum will house local memorabilia including military, household, farm and business items to reflect the past of the Meeker community. Items of significance include an old fire truck, a stained glass window from the old Presbyterian Church and an examination table of Dr. L. Ralph Bell, who practiced medicine in Meeker from 1940 to 1975.

Tonya VanScoyoc of Shawnee; and Doug and Kathy VanScoyoc of McLoud announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Noel VanScoyoc, to Stuart Anthony Jackson of Stillwater, son of Rick and Shirley Jackson of St. Louis, Mo.
The wedding will take place at 1 p.m. May 24, 2008, at Thunderbird Wedding Chapel in Norman.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Barbara Lowry of Oklahoma City; Shirley VanScoyoc of Salina, Kan.; and Delbert and Pat Englebretson of Choctaw.
She is a 2005 graduate of McLoud High School and attends Rose State College. She is employed as a corporate floating teller for Stillwater National Bank in a three-state region.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Quentine and Marie Skelton; and Pauline Downum, all of Springdale, Ark.
He is a graduate of Deer Creek High School and attended Oklahoma State University. He is set to graduate from Southern Nazarene University this month. He is employed at Stillwater National Bank as a retail marketing coordinator in a three-state region.


Sullivan-50th wedding anniversary

Marilyn West and Leonard E. Sullivan of Oklahoma City are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at 4 p.m. May 24 at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. They were married May 24, 1958, at First Baptist Church in McLoud.
Their children and their spouses are Diana Sullivan Wood and Phillip Wood; and Lee Ann Sullivan Hinds and Kint Hinds. Grandchildren are Candice Wood, Brandon Wood, Sean Wood, Gutherie Crull, Collin Crull, David Hinds, Jenny Hinds and Susan Hinds Cleburn.
They are members of Cherokee Hills Church of Christ, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, OSU alumni, OBU, Dale High School alumni, among others.

Burke Anderson and Mary Williams of Norman announce the May 24 wedding of their daughter, Lindsey Williams Anderson, to Douglas Michael Miller, son of Mike and Patti Miller of Tulsa.
The event will take place at Faith United Methodist Church in Tulsa at 2 p.m.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Fritz and Rose Anderson of Shawnee; and Carol Williams and the late Willie Williams.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Gene and Georgia Miller; and Robert and Helene Schmitz.
Anderson is a 2002 graduate of Norman High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Oklahoma, with a bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy. She is employed as a radiation therapist at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.
Miller is a 2001 graduate of Jenks High School and a 2005 graduate of OU with a bachelor’s degree in public affairs and administration. He is a third-year law student at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, N.Y.

Keri Jo Terronez and Daniel Leon Acord were married Saturday, March 8, at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Rhonda Terronez of Depew and is a graduate of Depew High School and Southwestern State University.
The groom is the son of Ray and Patricia Acord of Davenport and a graduate of Davenport High School and Oklahoma State University. Both are employed by Davenport Schools.
