Tamara Whitney of Jefferson City, Mo., and Dustin Parry of Clarsburg, Mo., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding May 23, 2009, at Union Hill Baptist Church at Holts Summit, Mo.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Frank and Shelly Whitney of Jefferson City, formerly of Shawnee. She is the granddaughter of John and Hirmaline Whitney of Hannibal, Mo., the late Marie Whitney and the late Kenneth and Shirley Jones.
The groom-elect is the son of Scott and Marie Parry of California, Mo. He is the grandson of Charlene Jenkins of Clarksburg, Mo., Jean and Howard Milburn of Holts Summit, Mo., and Ron Parry of Springfield, Mo.
Whitney is a 2005 graduate from California High School and will graduate in May 2009 from Hannibal LaGrange College with a degree in broadcast communication.
Parry is a 2005 graduate from California High School and will graduate in May 2009 from Hannibal LaGrange College with a degree in business marketing.
