SHAWNEE, Okla. —
Rachel Darlene Welch and John Michael Davis of Shawnee announce their engagement and July 23, 2008, wedding at United Presbyterian Church. Officiant will be the Rev. Dave Lewis.
The bride-to-be’s parents are Fred and Beth Welch of Shawnee and Lola and Dave Davis of Maud. Her grandparents are Fred and Jeannette Hurst; LeeRoy and Pat Welch; and the late Betty Welch.
The groom-elect’s parents are Mike and Dianne Davis of Shawnee. His grandparents are Mary Davis; Pauline Young; and the late Foye Malcom Davis.
He is a 2005 graduate of Shawnee High School and is employed at Wolverine Tube Inc.
Maid of honor will be Loni Reinhardt.
The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Tennessee.
