Katie and Brandon Baptiste of McLoud announce the birth of a daughter, Aftyn Patience Hanna Baptiste.
She was born at 1:37 p.m. September 14, 2009, in Shawnee. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.
She is the granddaughter of Paula Sparks of McLoud, Chuck Baptiste of Shawnee, Carroll Burk of Amarillo, Texas, and Annette Burk of Wayne. She is the great-granddaughter of Elwanda Shofner of Wayne.
