- A replica of the anchor from the U.S.S. Oklahoma was installed Wednesday at Veterans Memorial at Woodland Park in Shawnee. The replica is made of fiberglass and is white. Navy ships were originally white except for a "gilded scrollwork on their bow," according to the Naval History and Heritage Command.
