A suspect arrested in connection with a Shawnee stabbing is now formally charged. Jimmy L. Gober, 28, is charged in Pottawatomie County District Court with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony. Shawnee Police Detective Ethan Rieves said Gober and Jennifer Valdez, 34, both of Shawnee, were at a local residence hen they allegedly became involved in an argument.
