Former Shawnee baseball player and current K-State catcher Josh Rolette knocked out the first home run of his college career Thursday as the lone run in a Wildcats loss to OSU.Rolette cranked out the shot with a full count and two outs in the bottom of the eight to end the shutout with his first and only hit of the night in the 2-1 defeat.

Shawnee track swept up at the Wagoner Invitational Friday with the girls taking first with 167 points, well ahead of Wagoner with 85. The boys also topped the competition with 112 points to Wagoner's 95.
