MCALESTER – An RBI double by AJ Barron with one out in the top of the seventh broke a 2-2 tie and helped the Shawnee Wolves to a 4-2 win over McAlester in a District 5A-4 matchup on the road Saturday.The win, the sixth in a row for the Wolves, locked up at least second place for Shawnee and guaranteed them a regional playoff tournament at home in the postseason.

USAO’s Alsis Herrera threw seven innings of one-hit ball to lead the Drovers to a 9-0 win over St. Gregory’s Saturday at Bill Nicklas Field. The win clinched a three-game series sweep for USAO over the Cavaliers.
