WEEK IN RELIGIONGermany’s iconic Cologne Cathedral went Dec. 5 to protest an anti-Muslim march held by the Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West group.The cathedral’s dean, Norbert Feldhoff, said the blackout is meant to make people participating in the march think about their actions, adding that the group, also known as Pegida, is comprised of extreme racists as well as “those in the middle of society.”
