As the first go of the 2016 IFYR came to a close Tuesday night, competitors in the bull riding and pole bending events knew they would have their hands full if they were to take the lead. Trey Kimzey from Strong City set a new arena record on the bulls Monday night with a score of 89.5 and Brooklyn Gunter of Sulphur, Louisiana set the record in pole bending with a 19.496 Tuesday morning.
