ROFF – Josh Rutland pitched seven strong innings and added a solo home run in the third as the Dale Pirates beat Lookeba-Sickles 3-2 in the first round of the Roff Invitational on Thursday.Rutland allowed two runs on four hits and a walk with eight strikeouts to get the win. He and Lane Cox combined for back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the third to make it 3-0 at the time.
