No matter how full our recipe box or files seems to be, there is usually room to squeeze in one more pound cake recipe.The pound cake is one of the most versatile cakes because it is usually made from staples found in the kitchen pantry and refrigerator, the basic ingredients being butter, sugar, eggs and flour. It can always be “dressed up” with the addition of cocoa, chips, nuts or coconut, just to name a few.
