Tecumseh firefighters extinguished a mobile home fire late Tuesday night and crews are investigating the blaze as a possible arson. No injuries were reported.
Deputy Fire Chief J.R. Kidney said firefighters responded to the Town and Country mobile home park, 20230 Harrison Road, No. 14.
Firefighters arrived quickly to the scene and knocked down the fire, Kidney said, and damage was contained to the master bedroom.
Damage to the home, owned by Belinda Burris, was estimated at $4,000, Kidney said. None of the home’s occupants were home at the time of the fire, he said.
Witnesses reported seeing someone leave the residence shortly before the fire and authorities are attempting to locate that person as part of the investigation, he said. The fire remains under investigation.
