The Ritz Theatre will be dedicated as an official Oklahoma centennial project at 10 a.m. Friday at the theater, located at 10 W. Main.
Jeanie Edney of the Oklahoma Centennial Commemorative Commission will be in attendance.
The theater, built in the late 1800s, has undergone the replacement of the heating and air conditioning in the lobby and auditorium areas and extensive renovations to the marquee.
The projects were funded in part through a grant made possible by the Oklahoma Legislature and the Oklahoma Centennial Commemorative Commission.
Those who worked tirelessly on these projects are American Air and Heating, Wilson Electric, Mike Oneill Construction, Harrod Electric, David Hutton, Maid in Oklahoma, John Patterson, Architect and Advanced Image.
Anyone wanting additional information about this project or The Ritz Theatre may contact Charlotte Patterson at 213-1959.
