It’s been five weeks since a Shawnee man disappeared and police have few leads in the investigation.
Shawnee officers are looking for Stanley Robert Stott, 60, also known as “Nikki.”  He was last scene April 21.
Stott is a cross-dresser who resided at Angel’s Acres Apartments, 205 N. Park. Stott’s personal belongings, including his cell phone and purse, were found in his apartment in the days after he disappeared.
Police have received some tips about Stott’s disappearance, but none have led to finding him.
Detectives said his family is concerned that he is ill and is unable to contact them. Crimestoppers reports show it is unusual for him to leave and not contact any friends or relatives. Stott has been entered as a missing person with the National Crime Information Center.
Stott is a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 182 pounds, brown hair and eyes. He sometimes dresses like a woman, including wearing wigs.
If anyone has seen Stott, they are asked to call police, 405-273-2121.
Those with information also can leave anonymous tips through Crimestoppers online at: http://www.shawneeok.org/PublicSafety/Police/Crimestoppers/ or by calling 405-273-0989.
