A Tulsa woman has died after being thrown from a motorcycle and off an Interstate 44 overpass.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Noel Moss died at Tulsa hospital of massive injuries following the accident shortly before 3 Thursday morning.

Troopers say Moss was a passenger on the motorcycle when the driver lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier on I-444 near downtown Tulsa.

Moss was then thrown over the barrier and fell 75 feet to the grass right of way below.

The driver of the motorcycle was not injured.
