There are more than 20 roles for men and women in the age range of early 20s through 60s. The roles of Jekyll/Hyde, as well as Emma, already have been cast.
Those auditioning will be asked to sing, read from a script and learn a simple dance step. Loree Hopkins will direct this production, and Sara Moring-Ledford is musical director. Performances will be Oct. 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and Nov. 1.
“Jekyll & Hyde,” the classic tale of good and evil, is based on a Robert Louis Stevenson story. Through songs like “Facade,” “In His Eyes,” “Someone Like You” and “This Is The Moment,” the story is told of a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart who wreaks havoc on the streets of London.
