The Seminole Nation Election Board would like to remind all of its tribal members to make sure they are ready to vote in the July 11 general election.
Questions about voter registration should be directed to the SNEB at 382-234. The office is located at the Mekusukey Mission inside the North Community Building. The SNEB is trying to round up the latest address for registered voters.
Tribal members can download registration materials and absentee ballot requests at www.seminolenation.com. These applications also are available at the SNEB office at the Mekusukey Mission or at the tribal complex in Wewoka.
There are five voting precincts within the Seminole Nation, including the North Community Center at the Mekusukey Mission, Sasakwa Community Center, Strother Community Center, the Glorietta Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and the Bixby Community Center. Each precinct will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day.
The SNEB requests that tribal members vote only in the precincts they designated in their voting registration forms.
