Chandler resident Philip Ray “Spanky” Gough, 43, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009.
He was born June 5, 1966 in Chandler, Ok. to Jerry Lynn and Linda Carol (Sullivan) Gough. He was a graduate of Chandler High School, class of 1985. Spanky married Levina Strickland on Aug. 14, 1993 in Chandler. He worked as a Technician at Fire Lake Grand Casino. Spanky enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Chandler First Nazarene Church.
Preceding him in death was his father and stepdad, Ted Galloway.
Survivors include his wife, Levina of the home; son, Daniel Ray Gough of the home; mother, Linda (Sullivan) Galloway of Chandler; two brothers and sister in law, Vernon and Karen Gough of Chandler, Paul Gough of Chandler; one sister and brother in law, Carol and Kelly Crary of Sparks; mother and father in law, Martha and Bud Mitchell of Wichita Falls, Texas; one sister in law and spouse, Tonya and Gary Keith of Edmond; one niece, Kristi Tackett of Chandler; three nephews, Jerry, Michael and Eric Gough all of Chandler; other relatives and many, many friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday May 29, 2009 at The First Baptist Church in Chandler with pastor Keith Cole officiating.
