Oklahoma Baptist freshman Clement Batut was one of five NAIA men’s golfers to be honored as being a member of the Golf Coaches Association of America’s All-Freshman team.


Oklahoma Baptist freshman Clement Batut was one of five NAIA men’s golfers to be honored as being a member of the Golf Coaches Association of America’s All-Freshman team.
Batut, a native of Paris, France, is joined on the team by Tor-Erik Knudson of Oklahoma Christian, Clark Collier of Oklahoma City, Sam Curtis of Berry and Tom Gamble of Webber International.
Golfstat.com ranks OBU’s freshman class as the best in the nation.
Along with Batut, the Bison, who finished 10th in the national tournament, also boast freshmen Chase Lindsey of Oklahoma City and Xavier Diana of Paris, France among its top five.
Lindsey recently was named All-NAIA Tournament.
