The Elvis Presley fan club of Oklahoma (Okemah OK) will host its annual Elvis Silent auction and Dance June 6 at the Brickstreet Cafe in Okemah. The cafe is located located at 104 S. 2nd.

This is the 11th year for the event. Each year there is a different theme. The theme for this year is “Elvis in Vegas/”. His career in Las Vegas will be highlighted throughout the event. He performed his Las Vegas engagments twice a year from 1969-1976.

The event not only will highlight Presley’s career in Las Vegas but will feature a wide array of the latest officially licensed Elvis Presley items for silent auction. New this year is an exclusive painting by acclaimed artist Joe Petruccio.
Petruccio’s creation will not be reproduced again. Petruccio is licensed as the official Artist of Graceland, and many of his designs are on several of the latest Elvis Products in stores now.
In 2006 Petruccio was chosen by MGM and Slyvester Stallone to do a series of paintings for the 30th anniversary of the Rocky Movies. In addition to Elvis, Petruccio’s works also include: Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison and Johnny Cash and others.
The auction has gained popularity in the last few years with The variety and amount of items for sale and auction.
Back again this year is a dance with KOMA Radio’s “Mr. Rock and Roll” Ronnie Kaye. The dance will last from 7-10 p.m. while the auction itself goes on from 7-9.
 The event is for all ages. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 5-15. (5 and under are admitted at no charge).

The event will help benefit Street Cats of Tulsa which is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to shelter cats that have been abandonedor lost and to find new homes for them.
The Elvis Presley fan club of Oklahoma is an officially registered fan club recognized by Graceland.
