Asher baseballers Dakota Magby and Fred Oliphant, both of whom are juniors, have been selected for one of the Sunbelt Junior baseball teams.

The competition is slated for June 4-7 at Oklahoma City’s Dolese Park, located just west of Meridian and N.W. 50th.

Magby and Oliphant played for Asher head coach Shane Coker.
The 32nd annual All-Star Senior Sunbelt Baseball Series is scheduled for June 17-21 in Norman.
In addition to Oklahoma’s team, squads are entered from Ohio, Florida, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Maryland and Canada.

Shawnee wrestling camp scheduled
Any youngster from kindergarten through seventh grade can participate in a Shawnee wrestling camp June 1-4 at the Shawnee Wrestling Complex located between Shawnee High School and the football field.
The cost is $35 per youngster for the camp, which meets from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. each day.
Spokesman Larry James said the camp will meet the needs of the beginner and the advanced wrestler.

Shooting camp
slated for OBU
Oklahoma Baptist women’s baskeball coach John McCullough has announced that a shooting camp will be held Monday, June 1, through Thursday, June 4, at the Noble Complex.
The cost will be $95 per entrant and the camp will run each day from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
McCullough said walk-on registrations would be welcome at the Noble Complex.
