Paul Allen Condray, 86, of Tulsa, died Saturday, December 5th, 2009 in Shawnee.
He was born to the late Milburn and Lucille Condray, July 11, 1923, in Estella, Craig County, Okla. Paul graduated from White Oak High School in 1941.
He served in the Army Air Corps 8th Air Force as a B-17 radio operator during World War II and was a member of the Caterpillar Club, an informal club for airmen who bail out of their crashing aircraft.
Paul married Elizabeth Ann Chaney in 1945, and they lived together in Vinita before relocating to Tulsa in 1955.
Paul was a parts salesman and store manager for Automotive, Inc. and Standard Auto Parts until he retired in 1977.
Paul was an active member of Parkland Baptist Church, Tulsa. He loved fishing, traveling West on his Honda Goldwing, photography, and Knotty Pines BBQ.
Paul is survived by Betty, his wife of 64 years, and two children, Paulann Canty, of Shawnee and Roger Condray and wife, Laurie, of Tulsa. He has one remaining sister, Connie Condray, Wichita, Kan.  He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Colonial Estates nursing home and Heartland Hospice for their attentiveness and care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heartland Hospice of Shawnee.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Stubblefield Chapel on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University, 500 W. University Street., Shawnee, Okla. A time of visitation with family and friends will be held immediately following the service until 1 p.m. at GrowthLines, LLC, 219 E. Highland, Shawnee, Okla .
