Julie Respicio Burnett was born Tuesday, June 16, 1953, to Beatrice Flores and Jose Duenos Respicio in San Diego, Calif. She graduated from Shawnee High School. She was also in the Army National Guard. On May 19, 1995, Julie married the love of her life, Gary Burnett. She loved the great outdoors and enjoyed participating in Guamanian Liberation Celebrations.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ronald and Patrick Respicio, and one niece, Leah Respicio.
She was survived by her husband, Gary; two sons, Dennis Hixson and Jason Robinson; one daughter, Jennifer Robinson; one grandson, Ethan; 10 brothers, Joe, Frank, Gene, Bob, Tony, Peter, David, Joseph, and Matthew Respicio, and Lloyd Wittmann; six sisters, Doris O’Dell, Bert Anderson, Kathy Crow, Anne Taylor, Carolyn Garrido, and Pamela San Agustin; special friends/sisters, Linda, Melinda, and Marilyn; cousin, Bill Taitano; brother-in-law, Darrell and Paula Burnett; Tom and his wife, Tommy Collins; sister-in-law, Naomi and Bill Love; Sharon and Dennis Wiegert. Julie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at the Citizen Potowatomi Nation Festival Grounds.
