Streaking Tecumseh captured its 10th straight victory Saturday night with a 57-42 decision over Okmulgee in Class 4A district play.
Tecumseh, ranked fifth, connected on 46.6 percent (7-of-15) of its 3-point attempts and 42.8 percent (12-of-28) of its 2-point efforts.
Francisoo Hukill and brother Julio Hukill pulled down six rebounds apiece. Franciso was the game’s leading scorer with 19 points.
Kyle Fowler added five rebounds for Tecumseh as it moved to 20-1. Kevin Hill and Trey Dorsey of Tecumseh had four assists apiece.
The Savages were 12-of-19 from the charity stripe.
Tecumseh, losers only to Millwood during the 2010-11 campaign, will travel to Okmulgee Thursday for an 8 p.m. regional winners bracket date with Checotah.
The Lady Savages weren’t as fortunate, dropping a 60-58 deicsion to Okmulgee. Montana Rickey led Tecumseh with 12 points while Angel Harris and Sutv Meeley provided 10 apiece.
Tecumseh’s girls will also travel to Okmulgee for a 1:30 p.m. losers bracket game with Checotah Thursday.
