McLoud (7-15) received three treys from Emily Miller, who finished with 13 points. Kiley Newsom, McLoud’s leading scorer with 15, had four points in overtime.
McLoud was 16-of-22 from the free throw line while Piedmont was 14-of-20.
McLoud will see action Thursday in regional losers’ bracket play.
