Seminole State’s Belles didn’t have a player in double figures but still ripped Western State College 69-34 Saturday night.
Sophomores Teshia Griswold and Audrey Pernell paced the Belles with nine points apiece. Teammates Shillalie Jones and Tiarra Dewberry collected eight points apiece.
The Belles led 26-13 at the half en route to going to 16-10.
Griswold, Pernell and Dewberry had five rebounds each.
In the nightcap, Western State managed a 73-67 victory.
Seminole State (10-16) received 21 points from DeShone McClure, a freshman from Jacksonville, Ark. McClure had three of Seminole State’s four 3-pointers.
Jazreel De Jesus and Marcus Nelson had 14 and 12 points for the Trojans.
Patrico Leadon led Seminole State with 10 rebounds.
Seminole State’s squads played Monday night at Connors State.
