McLoud avoided elimination in a Class 4A regional losers bracket game Thursday awith a 62-57 victory over Justice-Alma-Wilson.
The Redskins (6-17) had just two treys — one apiece by Sage Rockow and Robbie Gray.
Gray finished with 18 points while teammate Travis Carroll chalked up 13.
McLoud canned just 40 percent (8-of-20) of its charity tosses while the losers were at 42.8 percent (9-of- 21).
“We played a solid game defensively,” McLoud coach Brad Moody said.
McLoud (6-17) will play another elimination game at 8 p.m. today at Harrah against the John Marshall- Star Spencer loser.
McLoud’s girls, who received a bye Thursday, will play at 6:30 at Harrah against the Star-Spencer Harrah loser.
