Seminole, in going to 9- 14, never trailed. The Lady Chieftains led 29-13 at the half and 41-21 after three quarters.
Peyton Fletcher chalked up four assists for Seminole while Justine Tilley garnered four steals and was very efficient triggering the fast break.
Seminole will play another losers bracket contest at 1:30 p.m. today against the loser of a game between Piedmont and Harding Prep.
Seminole’s boys were not as fortunate, ending their 2010-11 run at 4-19 with a 55-43 stumble to the host Harrah Panthers in a losers bracket match.
The Chieftains, who played with a predominantly young crew, lost 10 games this year by less than 10 points.
“We played a lot of sopho- mores, but they played hard all year,” said Seminole head coach Charles Kemp. “We played good for our experience, but it was a good year. You could say it’s a year where they grew.”
Damon Cravens was Seminole’s only double-digit scorer at 10 points.
