A Harrah toddler was critically injured in an ATV accident Wednesday in Lincoln County.
The accident occurred about 3:43 p.m. on 1040 Road, about one-half mile east of Pinecrest, the Okla- homa Highway Patrol reported.
Julie Ann Walker, 27, Harrah, was driving a Po- laris ATV westbound on the county road when a passen- ger, Olivia Walker, 3, Harrah, removed herself from the seat and moved to the floorboard, distracting the driver, the OHP said.
The ATV went off the road- way and came to rest against a tree, troopers said.
Julie Walker was not injured, the patrol’s report shows. Olivia Walker, along with passenger Emily Walker, 1, also of Harrah were both taken by Medi Flight helicop- ter ambulance to OU Medical Center, the OHP said.
Olivia Walker had minor injuries to her head, trunk and extremities, but was not admitted to the hospital. The OHP said Emily Walker suf- fered internal trunk injuries and was admitted in critical condition. Her condition was upgraded Thursday to serious, a hospital representative said.
According to Trooper Kyle Winrow’s report, seat belts were in use by Julie Walker, but not the passengers.
Inattention was listed as cause of the accident on the gravel two-lane roadway.
Trooper Winrow was as- sisted at the scene by the Lincoln County sheriff’s office.
