  • Andrew Rivas Columbus Jr., 49, of Oklahoma City, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, in Oklahoma City.
    He was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Shawnee to Andrew “Tito” Columbus Sr. and Loretta (Haygood) Hilton.
    He graduated from Dale High School in 1980. He received a bachelor’s degree from S.N.U. and received a culinary degree from Johnson Wales University in Rhode Island.
    He worked as a catering coordinator of Chesapeake Energy. He was a 2nd Lieutenant in the National Guard.
    He enjoyed cooking, photography, gardening, traveling, playing darts, spending time with his family and O.S.U. sports.      
    He was a member of Life Church in Edmond.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew “Tito” Columbus Sr.
    Survivors include his daughter, Nikki Williams and husband, Chris, of Edmond; son, Steven Columbus and wife, Tasha, of Binger; grandchildren, Lillian Grace Williams, Stormi Rae Pitchford and Brody Andrew Columbus; mother, Loretta Hilton of Shawnee; sister, Sheila Columbus; brother, Michael Columbus and wife, Kerry; partner, Tyron Rocheleau of Oklahoma City; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
    Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee with Bro. Bill Matthews officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.
    A memorial service will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, at Life Church, Oklahoma City Campus in Edmond, 2001 NW 178th Street.
