Stanley Theral Jackson, 79, of Tecumseh, was born July 26, 1932, in Watonga and passed away Oct. 24, 2011.
Stanley served his country in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed fishing and cars.
He was a wrecker driver in Oklahoma City. He retired as a grader driver in Pottawatomie County.
He also enjoyed playing dominos at the senior citizen center and eating lunch with his friends.
Stanley was a member of Primitive Baptist Church of Tecumseh.    
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Erma; son, Gregory Jackson, both of the home; daughter, Sherly Francis and husband, James, of Ft. Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Francis; siblings, Evelyn Lamson, Julia Hopkins, Gayle Curan and husband, Joe, and Otto Busler and wife, Sheryl; and a host of nieces and nephews.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Delores Jackson, son, Gordon Jackson, and five siblings.  
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway in Moore. Interment will follow to Moore Cemetery.
