Kenneth Ray Rutledge, 69, of Shawnee, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Woodland, Calif., to Herbert Ray Rutledge and Lucille Wells (Perkins) Rutledge.
He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in October 1969.
He worked as an electronics technician at Tinker Air Force Base.
He enjoyed motorcycle racing, speed boats and cars, and was an avid fisherman in his younger days.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Theodore “Ted” Perkins.
Survivors include his step-uncle and several cousins.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating.
