Mark Robbins scored off two long touchdown runs while Caleb Martin ran for one score and passed for another as the Meeker Bulldogs rolled to a 43-13 non-district win over host Lexington Friday night.


Mark Robbins scored off two long touchdown runs while Caleb Martin ran for one score and passed for another as the Meeker Bulldogs rolled to a 43-13 non-district win over host Lexington Friday night.

Robbins had TD runs of 84 and 64 yards for Meeker while Martin had a 42-yard scoring run of his own and hooked up with Mandrale Henry on a 33-yard touchdown pass.

Matt Crum added a 5-yard TD run while the Bulldog defense got into the scoring act as Kevin Barnett returned a fumble 2 yards for a score. Meeker also picked up two points off a safety.

Meeker was up 20-6 after one quarter and 34-6 at the half.

Both of Lexington’s touchdowns came off runs of 11 and 1 yards by Luke Gifford.

The Bulldogs improved to 4-5 overall and will close out the regular season next Friday night at Holdenville. Meeker is 2-3 in district play, heading into next week and will be seeking a possible playoff berth with a victory.
