Class A’s No. 6 Asher collected 12 hits and never trailed in defeating 19thranked Coleman, 9-4, in Thursday’s portion of the Stonewall Tournament.

The win moves the Lady Indians to 9-2.

Asher led 5-0 after the first inning, and 6-2 after three. The game was stopped after five innings on the time limit.

Asher’s Kasadi Reimers belted a triple, and Alissa Oliphant was 2-for-3 with a double. Tristan Milburn and Sara Wauahdooah each hit two singles.

Asher will contest Sulphur at 11 a.m. today as the tournament continues.
