Bethel’s Wildcats took first place Thursday with a 318 at the Henryetta Tournament, and Tyler Hargus secured third place as an individual with a 79.

Alec Cunningham, with a 10th-place 83, was also a medalist for Bethel.

The 12-team field used the Maxwell format, with the four lowest scores on each hole going toward the team’s final. Idabel was the runner-up at 320, and Checotah was third at 334.

Bethel’s girls played at Stroud Thursday and also took first with a 374. Seminole was second at 398, and Byng was third at 415.

Two Lady Wildcats earned medalist honors — Jordan Humphrey with a third-place 86, and Abi Hagans with a seventh-place 92.

Bethel’s boys will play today at Perkins.
