An 18-hit attack, including six doubles, carried Dale to a 14-4 triumph over Roff Monday.
Dale led just 7-4 entering the top of the seventh but tallied seven runs to end any semblance of suspense.
Tanner Nelson of Dale went 4-for-4 with a double and three singles. Chase Byndas accounted for three hits, including two doubles, and Jace Wilkins chipped in with two two-baggers.
Evan Anderson notched three hits, including a double, Hunter Pinkston also had three hits while Gage Ross and Gage Ross added two singles apiece.
Dale stranded 13 runners. “We’ve left a lot of people on base this year,” Dale coach Jerry Sanford said.
Tanner Nelson, who hurled the first five innings, gave up four runs and five hits while earning the victory. Byndas, who went the last two innings, struck out three and didn’t give up a hit.
Dale, 10-1, will travel to Oktaha today for a 4:30 p.m. varsity/JV doubleheader.
