  • Jason Britt Hopkins, 40, of Norman, passed from this life at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with brain cancer.
     
    Britt was born in Shawnee on March 14, 1972, to James Ronald “Ronnie” Hopkins and Dian (Floyd) Webber. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1990. Britt was a machinist for Rex Am Manufacturing. He was a fun loving, wonderful man with a great spirit. The moment you met him, you instantly liked him. He loved being with his family and he loved his cars. Britt will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
     
    Britt is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Nona Floyd and Mutt and Juanita Hopkins.
     
    Britt is survived by his daughter, Erica Hopkins of Noble; his mother, Dian (Floyd) Webber with husband, David, of Norman; his father, Ronnie Hopkins with wife, Karen, of Eufala; his brother, Andy Hopkins with wife, Crissy, and daughters, Destiny, Devyn, and Courtney of Bethel; sister, Lea Hopkins with daughter, Jayden, and son, Brandon, of Oklahoma City; step-sisters, Ericka Vanoni, Luci Webber, and Trisha Morrow, all of Moore; step brother, Sean Ensz of Norman; grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Webber of Norman; and other numerous family members and friends who all cherished and adored him.
     
    A viewing and visitation for Britt is to be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at OK Cremation & Mortuary Service, 2415 N. Walnut in Oklahoma City.
     
    Britt’s memorial service is to be at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church, 37496 New Hope Road Tecumseh, OK 74873.
