Asher, ranked second in Class B, upped its record to 16-5 Tuesday with a 7-2 defeat of Stonewall.
The Indians led 6-1 after three innings.
Zach Fowler threw all seven for Asher, holding the Longhorns to just two hits. He walked one batters and struck out 11 in improving to 5-2 on the mound.
Caleb Dubler smacked a run-scoring double in Asher’s four-run first inning, and teammate Tanner Andrews finished with a double and a single as Asher compiled five hits.
Asher committed one error to Stonewall’s four.
The Indians will host a district tournament Thursday with Earlsboro and Wapanucka. Earlsboro will face Wapanucka at 2 p.m., and Asher will take on the lost at 4 p.m. Asher will then face the Earlsboro-Wapanucka winner at 6 p.m.
The tournament is a double-elimination format.
Earlsboro lost two five-inning games Tuesday to visiting Vanoss — 11-3 and 12-5.
