Dale, ranked second in Class 2A, picked up two regional tournament wins Friday and is one win away from reaching the state tournament.
The Lady Pirates blanked Alva, 13-0, in a five-inning run-rule outing to begin the day Friday.
The tournament was delayed a day because of heavy rainfall Wednesday and early Thursday.
McKenna Rosebure improved to 18-3 as she fanned four and did not issue a walk. She permitted just two hits.
Leading the offensive charge for Dale were Danielle Dockrey and Sam Barry. Dockrey, out of three hits, snagged a home run and five runs batted in, while Barry struck for two homers and three RBIs.
Kassidy Sparks notched a triple and a single, and teammates Caitlyn Pitchford, Jaelin Flewallen and Reagan Holt each hit two singles.
In a 10-2 win over Crescent in the second game, Taylor Powell remained spotless in the circle as she improved to 14-0.
She surrendered six hits and no walks and she tossed three strikeouts.
Holt and Dockrey combined for eight of Dale’s 11 hits.
Holt connected for two doubles and two singles, while Dockrey got a double and three singles.
Now 34-3, Dale will face Crescent at 12:30 p.m. today as the tournament concludes.
Dale needs just one victory to claim the regional crown and advance to state, and would have to lose twice to be dropped out of contention.
