  • Gerald Wayne “Short” Smith, longtime resident of Shawnee, passed away suddenly on Oct. 6, 2012, at the age of 62.
     
    A funeral will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the New Hope Baptist Church in Tecumseh with interment following at Holdenville Cemetery.
     
    Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral home of Wellston.
