Lady Bison unveil schedule

Oklahoma Baptist’s Lady Bison will play 10 games against seven 2012 NAIA Tournament entrants during their 2012-13 season.

The season tips off with a 6 p.m. home date Oct. 30 against Central Oklahoma, before road games at NAIA Tournament qualifier Columbia, Oral Roberts and Southwestern Oklahoma State — all before homecoming.

OBU hosts Manhattan Christian for homecoming to start a six-game home stand that includes NAIA qualifier Avila, as well as future Sooner Athletic Conference members Southwestern Christian and Northwood.

December starts with a road trip to Central Oklahoma and home games against Central Baptist and NAIA Tournament entrant Westminster before finishing the calendar year at NAIA qualifier Lyon, with a game there against St. Catharine’s College as well as the hosts.

The SAC season begins Jan. 3 with Lubbock Christian in Shawnee.

OBU has home-and-home conference dates with 2012 NAIA Tournament entrants LCU, Rogers State and Oklahoma City.
