Rodrigo Lopes headed home a corner kick by Mario Maia with 91 seconds left in the second overtime to give Oklahoma Baptist a 3-2 Sooner Athletic Conference men’s soccer win at Oklahoma City University Tuesday.
Lopes scored his fourth goal of the season and first game-winner of the season.
OBU took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute when Taylor Thompson scored with an assist from Chance Johnson, but the Stars tied the game early in the second half on a goal by Ryan Hunter.
Victor Costa scored from across the box for a 2-1 OBU lead with just 11:31 left in regulation, but OCU answered with an Adam Black goal in the 83rd minute.
Marcus Oliveira picked up the win in goal with seven saves.
OBU had eight shots on goal, led by Costa with three and Thompson with two.
The win moves OBU to 2-2 in the SAC and 5-5 overall. The Bison play at USAO Tuesday.
