Oklahoma Baptist is sixth in the NAIA men’s preseason top 25 coaches’ poll, released Friday. It is the highest ranking for the men’s team at OBU. “That’s unbelievable. I could not be prouder of my boys,” said Bison coach Kenny Lindsey. OBU had three top-five finishes in the fall, including a record-setting win in the Southwestern Christian Tournament. The Bison got 382 points in the poll and is second in the Sooner Athletic Conference to fourth-ranked Oklahoma City. Texas Wesleyan is on top in the rankings.
