Earlsboro’s girls ran their record to 3-0 Friday night by ripping Paden 72-38. Earlsboro led 32-22 at halftime and out-scored the visitors 26-10 in the third quarter. Kourtney Jones, Jordan Lasley and Demi Coon notched 18 points apiece for Earlsboro. Lasley recorded four 3-point field goals while Jones registered two. Demi Coon and Britany Coon had one 3-point success apiece. Earlsboro’s youthful boys weren’t so fortunate, dropping a 58-49 decision to Paden after being out-scored 14-2 in the first quarter. Earlsboro trailed just 25-23 at the half after going on a 21-11 run. Austin Sanders led Earlsboro with 15 points. Ethan Bateman contributed 12 points for Earlsboro and teammate Eric Stargell finished with 11. Of the seven Earlsboro players who dressed up, four were freshmen.
