Caleb Dubler sank three of his four 3-point field goals in a decisive third quarter Friday night, propelling Asher to a 64-53 victory over Stonewall. Asher held just a 23-21 lead at halftime but out-scored Stonewall 29-19 in the third quarter. Zach Fowler led Asher’s scoring with 20 points, and Dubler added 16. Asher, 2-0, prevailed despite hitting just 31.5 percent (6-of-19) of its charity tosses. Asher will continue its season Tuesday night at home against Wanette. Note: Report compiled by Fred Fehr.
