Undefeated and second-ranked Cherokee ousted Maud from the Class C playoffs Friday night with a 48-0 first-round decision.
Cherokee, 11-0, finished the game in the third quarter on the mercy rule.
Maud, which finished the season at 6-4, trailed 18-0 after one quarter and 42-0 at halftime.
Cherokee had 279 yards of offense while Maud was held to 60 yards.
Josh Argraves of Cherokee scored three touchdowns, including an 80-yard interception return, and also recorded three two-point conversion runs.
