  • A 15-year-old suspect is in custody on a homicide complaint after a stabbing Friday night in Seminole left another teen dead.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reports Nick Tilley, 16, was killed in the altercation Friday night. It was about 9:24 p.m. when a 911 call reported someone was hurt at the intersection of Mike Snyder and Jefferson Streets, which is near the Seminole football field. The Seminole Chieftains were playing the Marlow Outlaws Friday night.
Police and emergency personnel responded and found Tilley had been stabbed. He was taken to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Seminole, where he later died, the OSBI reported.
Just after 10 p.m., Seminole police asked for the OSBI's assistance in the investigation.
The OSBI hasn't released any details on how the suspect was identified or taken into custody.
Because the suspect is a juvenile, his name will not be released, the OSBI reported, unless the Seminole County district attorney decides to charge the teen as an adult.
Jessica Brown, public information officer for the OSBI, said there was no new information or details to release in this case on Monday.
