  • Oklahoma Baptist is ranked 10th in the NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday.

  • Oklahoma Baptist is ranked 10th in the NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday. The Bison, ranked third in the Sooner Athletic Conference, were 47-14 last season and had 372 points in the poll. OBU has 19 games this coming spring with teams recognized in the poll, including four each with No. 4 Oklahoma City, No. 5 Rogers State and No. 16 Lubbock Christian. The Bison also has four games with No. 28 York, one game with No. 29 Tabor and three with No. 30 Peru State. Baseball season begins Feb. 2, 2013, with a game at Southwestern Oklahoma State, followed by a trip to Ada to play East Central Feb. 5. The four-game York series kicks off the home schedule Feb. 8 and 9. Note: Report provided by Ray Fink, OBU sports information director.
