  • The Lady Indians held Maysville to just six points at halftime on their way to a 59-10 thrashing of the Lady Warriors Tuesday night.
     
    Asher pitched a first-quarter shutout, holding a 14-0 advantage heading into the second break. By halftime, the lead had ballooned to 21.
     
    Shelby Fleming led the way for the visitors with 20, while Tristan Milburn added 12 with two 3-pointers.
     
    Asher’s Casady Riemers recorded a team-high eight rebounds.
     
    Maysville’s Brooklyn House accounted for six points for the home team.
     
    The Lady Indians are now 3-3 on the season.
     
    Dalton Hockley dropped in 17 points and 11 Asher players got in on the scoring as the unbeaten Indians (6-0) pummeled Maysville 58-38 in the boys’ contest.
     
    Asher, ranked sixth in Class B, led 25-12 after the first quarter and 51-23 at halftime.
     
    Zach Fowler scored a baker’s dozen for the victors, and Sean Fleming added 10 points.
     
    Asher will go to Allen Friday.
